- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the hour and I am very fast and organized which my many references would confirm.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am very easy to work with and start by asking the customer what their design goals are, what the priorities are (event logo, business card, poster, ad, billboard), if they have a art deadline they need it by and what the best way they like to communicate via text, email or by phone. I also ask what their budget is so this helps me know the number of hours I have to work with to reach their design goals. If their immediate design budget does not fit with the amount of tasks, I explain how much design work I can get completed and adjust from there. Most times, customers are pleased with the progress and quality of my designs and we stretch the projects out over an extended time if they need a larger budget.
