Great communication, on time for appt, did a great job with gardening service overallMar 7, 2020Verified
I'm happy to have found G&G Garden Service! Immediate response to my inquiry, and provided an estimate same day by stopping by my home. Was able to set-up a routine service easily. I happened to be home on the first service, and they were friendly, informative, and did a beautiful job. Excited to continue with G&G!Jun 26, 2019Verified

Jerry and his helper did a fantastic job weeding, trimming and cleaning up a neglected front and back yard! I would not hesitate to have G&G do any future landscape work!Sep 4, 2020VerifiedG&G Garden Service's reply
Thank you Bob. We appreciate it and look forward to hearing from you in the future !
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My dad was a gardener for over 20 years. I grew up helping him. When I was younger, I would tag along on jobs and help rake up leaves or pick up small twigs and branches. Then as I got older I help out with customer service and billings. Now we are left with all of the experience and knowledge to apply to our business .
- What types of customers have you worked with?We mostly work with residential but we also have a few apartment buildings and commercial customers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Often times we have found that customers tend to ask for a once a month service or "as needed" because they think this is most economic. However, it is actually more expensive. The reason why is because the longer you wait to do the yard, the taller the grass and dirtier it becomes causing labor cost to increase. The grass grows past the point where a lawnmower can no longer do the job and additional tools and time are needed to bring the yard back to a manageable state. This is when most companies charge a steep "clean up" fee. We recommend scheduling a bi-weekly or weekly service to help prevent an unruly yard and hefty clean up fees.
