I did the usual dance: scoured Google and Yelp, found a company with over 2000 glowing 5-star reviews, and locked in an appointment for 2:00 PM, two days later.Now, we all know contractors have a special talent for being late, so I gave them a solid five-hour grace period before I started hunting down an ETA. After waiting an hour for a text back (spoiler: it never came), I called the company only to be serenaded by their voicemail, informing me that they were closed for the day. They promised to call me back in the morning, but by that point, I was pretty sure Id be a puddle by sunrise.Enter my daughter with the save of the century: she told me about Bill. I called him up, and in a blink (okay, 15 minutes), he was at my door, ready to do battle with my misbehaving A/C unit.
