- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a kid just like any boy my goal was to be a pro athlete. At age 14 or 15 it crossed my mind the odds of being a pro athlete is to small. As a kid I loved collecting sport cards. So it came to me I have a much better chance having a career involving sports by becoming a sport photographer. Getting involved in sport photography lead me to various other types of photography.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most common is sporting, portrait, model, and party events.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Provide as many details about photography service needed. As in is there minimum hours. Events: How many hours, people, will you want photos retouched? Portrait/Model Photography: Is there minimum number of photos you want to be shot. What style are you looking for? As in fashion, glamour, artistic, or? Does it matter to you if is studio or outdoor on location? If studio does color/style backdrop matter? If outdoor on location what scene sounds best? As in beach, city park, ghetto, downtown, or? Sport Photography: Is it just one person to focus on or the whole team? What type of sport is it? What time of day is the event? What quality are you seeking? If want photos of every athlete in the sport how many total athletes? For all the above location and what photos will be used for is needed. Will you want digital downloads in disc, want prints, will you want jpeg or raw format photos? If want prints provide as many details as possible. As in size and quantity of prints.
