Valeriya W. says, "I contacted TJ initially to replace my faucet in the kitchen because it wouldn’t stop dripping and I know its been like 9 years since last replacement so I knew I needed it. Well, as most of the things that look easy on surface, didn’t turn out that way. My house is super old and has been built in the 50th, so the plumbing is not in its best condition. Plus turned out that whoever installed the sink initially didn’t do a very good job. Plus everything got so corroded (and I had no clue cause I’m a woman and don’t look under sinks usually 😂), that he had hard time taking out the faucet normal way because its been so corroded. He had to shut all water off and said that he needs to get a special tool to cut the faucet off and that he’d come back tomorrow. He also recommended for me to get a new trap under sink cause he could tell it was leaking before and was on its last legs. (He was right it leaked twice before and was barely contained with mask tape!) He offered to pick up the trap and things I needed for it like washers (cause I have no clue and was scared to get the wrong thing) since he needed to stop by Home Depot anyways. Well, all this to say I was pretty stressed out but TJ put me at complete ease. He has impeccable human skills (I’m not the easiest to deal with 😂). Now I have a new faucet and new plumbing under the sink so no leaks are coming anymore. It’s just refreshing to meet a handyman that also so confident to do plumbing jobs and knows exactly what he is doing. Also caring and with strong work ethic. I wanted to leave a thorough review cause I’m not easily impressed and was pleasantly surprised."See more

How much is it to get your windows tinted?

Window tinting is an easy aftermarket addition that can help reduce your electric bills, decrease glare in the home, increase privacy, protect your furniture and artwork against fading, and better control temperatures throughout your house. The national average cost for residential window tinting is $550. Many window tinting companies charge per square foot, for example, $6-$8 per square foot for materials and installation. Often, companies can offer lower rates for a larger installation project. Window size also affects cost; smaller windowpanes are harder to work with than large, rectangular windows and will likely mean a higher price per square foot. Your utility company may offer you rebates for installing window tinting. Here are two examples of average project installation cost:

  • 110-square-foot window tinting project: $750 for 11 windows tinted.
    • $6.80 per square foot. Customer received $150 from electrical company.
    • Semi-gloss tint.
  • 200-square-foot window tinting project: $1,000 for 10 large-pane windows tinted.
    • $5 per square foot.
    • Reflective silver tint for maximum privacy.
