FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a setup fee depending on the complexity of setup, and then charge hourly for bookkeeping services. My standard bookkeeping in-person price starts at $55 an hour. It can be more for more complex businesses, and less if you're interested in using my services from a distance where I can work flexible hours from home. My other services are priced based on specific needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I can start with a phone call or an in-person meeting. Genevieve, my wife, is often the first person you'll speak to as she sets my calendar and appointments. She also helps me with back-office work and will be your go-to for billing, etc. I like to get a good picture of your needs and then develop a plan that works for both of us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a CPA with over 20 years of experience in both accounting and bookkeeping work. While I am not doing tax preparation, I have all the expertise needed to make your books CPA-ready, so when tax time comes around, you're not wasting $100+ an hour for your CPA to clean up your books.
