- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard price ranges from $325-$400. Complex properties need a direct quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, searching the property address and asking what the purpose of the appraisal. I do many tax, estates planning, divorce, listing appraisals, date of deaths, and homeowner market vales. If you are refinancing, your lender may require to order the appraisal directly.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask the appraiser how long they've been license, if they are certified, and how far they live the property. We are only allowed to accept assignments in neighborhoods we are familiar with.
