My daughter has being training with Coach Jared Lloyd of Homecourt Edge for nearly 7 years. We have worked with other individuals in this market and they all bring some value, but Jared has elevated my daughters level of play in all facets of the game. As her skill sets advance, so does Jareds instruction and training. Jared continues to challenge my daughter with advanced yet practical skills that have separated her as an elite high school player who has garnered several Division 1 basketball scholarships.Homecourt Edge continues to earn our business because of their personal interest in my daughters development that has sparked a passion in her for the game of basketball which will carry her to next level. Two years ago, my youngest son, 10 1/2, got turned down to play on a club team. He took a camp from HCE in Irvine and had a great time! They put him on their Stars Team in Irvine and really developed his skills and confidence and Coach John has been training him. My older son, then 13, wanted to play basketball full time with a goal of being competitve in Trinity League. Jared has been training him since and he has reached his goal. Good coaching is very hard to find and it is much more than teaching basketball skills. It's caring about the individual both on and off the court. I have been driving to Carson from Tustin for over a year so that my boys can play on the travel ball team with HCE! They are truly a family, great coaches and people!!

HCE was highly recommended by a friend of mine. At the time, my sons were 10 and 6 years old and I knew I needed to get them in some type of structured basketball. From the first day my boys stepped into their gym they welcomed them with open arms - it didnt matter what skill level my boys were at. Within the first 30 mins of the clinic, I was surprised that all of the coaches knew both my sons name (there were at least 30 kids in there). Since that day, we have been members of the HCE family. I have watched my boys develop into very good basketball players and I owe a lot of it to Jared and his staff. They are really patient with the kids and truly care about them both on and off the court. Now my older son will be in high school in the fall and will be able to compete at the high school level thanks to Home Court Edge. They motivate our kids and provide them with the right tools to develop into skillful players. I highly recommend Home Court Edge if you are looking for a team or just need personal training.

My kids have been playing basketball since they were in first grade. Their dad coached club ball many years and trained them as they grew up. They eventually got to those pre-teenage years where all they did was complain when they had to go outside and practice shooting or dribbling. I felt that they needed someone else to step in who can demand some discipline again. We were introduced to Coach Jared and my kids have been training with him for the last year. Coach J will create a workout based on areas you want to focus on. He works them hard, pushes them to their limits, and doesnt allow them to quit! Many others have noticed a huge improvement in their game. My daughter doesnt miss as many layups, and my sons favorite new move is the floater he learned! I would strongly recommend Coach J if you want your child to take their game to the next level!

Please don't allow pricing to be a barrier for your child/ren. There are payment plans, as well as group discounts. There are monthly dues as well as fees for additional clinics.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone calls are part of our protocol to ensure there are no questions left unanswered. Text messages, voicemails, and emails are answered within 24 hours, unless there are unforeseen circumstances.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a Bachelor's degree in business, while interning with --- for --- years. I began coaching middle schoolers at Marshall Middle School of LBUSD before branching out to develop my own company in everything surrounding basketball.
