While I respect your right to share your experience, some of the statements made in your review do not align with the facts of this project, and I feel it is necessary to provide additional context for clarity. According to our contract, this project was scheduled to be completed within 15 working days. However, it was completed in 12 working days, ahead of the agreed schedule. Therefore, contrary to what was stated in your review, the project was not delayed. In addition, throughout the course of the project, your husband repeatedly expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the work. During the project, at your request and with the goal of saving both time and cost, multiple contractors, including electricians, plumbers, painters, and other specialized trades, were working on-site simultaneously. I repeatedly explained that this approach could create scheduling conflicts, require frequent relocation of tools and materials, and even require assembled cabinets to be moved from one room to another. Despite these circumstances, our team fully cooperated with all contractors, adapted to the resulting changes and limitations, and completed its contractual obligations ahead of schedule. For example, on the day cabinet installation was scheduled to begin, the electrician remained working in the kitchen until approximately 5:00 PM, preventing our team from fully starting the installation as planned. At that time, you also apologized for the scheduling conflicts created by the overlap of multiple trades. The claim that installers were fired is also inaccurate. None of our workers were dismissed. In construction projects, demolition crews, assembly teams, cabinet installers, countertop installers, painters, and other trades are often different individuals, each with a specific area of expertise. Personnel changes between different phases of a project are entirely normal and common within the construction industry. Likewise, the claim that there was no cabinet specification list is incorrect. All plans, dimensions, selections, revisions, and approvals were documented and reviewed multiple times throughout the project. Without this information, it would have been impossible to order, manufacture, and install the cabinets. In addition, after the final design was approved, the dimensions and layout of the kitchen island were changed at your request. To accommodate these changes, some of the cabinets that had already been prepared were set aside, and new cabinets were reordered, manufactured, and installed. In addition, the sink was changed to a farmhouse sink at your request. The claim that there were constant arguments does not reflect my experience of this project. Throughout the entire project, I made every effort to address all questions and concerns with professionalism and respect. For example, during a family holiday, I received more than 50 messages from you, beginning in the early morning hours and continuing until late at night. These messages contained concerns about potential mistakes in the cabinet installation. At that stage, however, cabinet installation had not yet begun, and the concerns being raised related to possible future issues rather than actual problems that had occurred. Even though I was spending that day with my family and outside of working hours, I continued responding to your messages and providing clarification. After the work was completed and the final review took place, it was confirmed that the cabinets had been installed exactly according to the approved plans, dimensions, and design. Perhaps the most significant point omitted from your review is the considerable amount of work our team performed outside the scope of our contract and without any additional compensation. Our contract covered only cabinets and countertops; however, in an effort to help move the project forward and reduce your overall costs, we devoted a substantial amount of time to tasks that were unrelated to our contractual obligations. For example, approximately four hours of our team’s working time were spent selecting, purchasing, loading, transporting, and delivering tile materials for the project. These services were provided purely as a courtesy and at no charge. Although procuring and transporting tile materials had no connection to our cabinet and countertop scope of work, we accepted that responsibility solely to help the project progress. Additionally, at your request, our team carefully removed large bathroom mirrors and reinstalled them in new locations. This work was also outside the scope of our contract and was completed without charge. Moving large mirrors always carries a risk of breakage and injury, yet we performed this work solely to contribute to the overall success of the project. Regarding the front door, the issue involved a very minor scratch on a door that already showed multiple signs of wear, scratches, and prior damage before the project began. Nevertheless, the cost of repainting the entire door was deducted from the final payment, despite no evidence being provided that our team caused the damage. As for the cleanliness of the cabinets and the presence of sawdust, it is important to note that after the majority of the installation was completed, various contractors continued working throughout the house. On several occasions, cabinets were moved, doors were opened and closed, and one cabinet door that had been removed by someone else was later found in another room. Therefore, the presence of dust, sawdust, or the need for minor adjustments during the final stages of construction cannot necessarily be attributed to the condition in which our team originally delivered the work. Regarding door and drawer adjustments, it was explained from the beginning that a final walkthrough and punch-list process would be completed after all contractors had finished their work. This process is a standard part of construction projects. Another important point that was not mentioned in your review is that near the end of the project, we were informed that the flooring contractor would begin work on Monday morning. As a result, our team worked until late Saturday evening in order to complete as much work as possible before the flooring installation began. That same evening, after many hours of physically demanding work in extremely high temperatures and difficult job-site conditions, I experienced a medical issue and was forced to leave the project site in order to receive urgent medical care. This situation was communicated to you immediately and was entirely beyond my control. Despite these circumstances, we continued making every effort to maintain the project schedule and fulfill our commitments. The reality is that the project was completed ahead of the contractual schedule, numerous services outside the scope of work were provided at no charge, and our team completed the project with dedication and professionalism despite the challenges created by coordinating multiple independent contractors simultaneously. We take pride in the quality of our work, our professionalism, and our commitment to our clients.
