Trena has worked magic helping me to train my now 6-month old golden doodle puppy who is overly enthusiastic and hugely energetic. She clearly loves dogs and somehow gets them to obey her! I have had 5 of the 6 training sessions I purchased from her-- at my house. I like it that she comes to my home and trains my dog for his actual living environment. Of course she is really training me more than my dog! She checks in on me between lessons and is available for advice in between training times. I have a ways to go to have a well behaved dog but I have confidence and "tools" she has given me in this puppy stage training arrangement! I boarded my puppy with her while I had to be gone for a week of travel. This was a huge plus--leaving him with someone who knew and loved him and would reinforce the behaviors I am trying to establish!

I would never use anyone else. I contacted many trainers in regards to puppy training. All of them said they wouldn’t start training until about 4 months old and I wanted to start now at 8 weeks. I was having the hardest time with potty training, biting, crate training and just being left alone. I was getting zero sleep. Trena came over and literally was my life saver. She completely set me and my puppy up for success. My puppy was potty trained so quickly and I’m now able to sleep through the night snd leave her alone without crying all the time. I’m now using her as my dog walker and pet sitter. My dog absolutely loves her. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

My dog would not stop barking. He barked at every little noise. I would constantly get complaints from my neighbors. I finally decided to contact a trainer. After the first meeting with Trena my pup was super responsive to her technique and the little changes she had made to our household. He now only barks when the doorbell rings which is awesome but when I tell him to stop he stops. No more complaints from my neighbors. She totally saved my sanity.

Trena knows what she is doing. I’ve tried two other trainers before her and still could not get Ben to listen to me let alone walk with me. After a few sessions with twenty four hours he was a different dog. She’s great and so is my dog. I’m still having her work with both of us. Andrea

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to best fit my clients budget as much as I can. I do offer packages and individual pricing. However, I do also adjust to best fit my clients needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a client hires me, I make sure they feel like they are part of our family. I make sure I am always there for them, take care of their pet like they were my own, my clients can call me day or night and I am always checking in with them, to see how their pet is doing, how the training is going and how can I help in any way. I also will go to any pet supply house and pick up any food or other supplies for their pet. I want my clients to know they can count on me no matter what. My personal connections with my clients and their pet is what makes my job the best job ever!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied dogs and their behavior almost my entire life. They are fascinating creatures. I have been mentored by the most renowned trainers and have learned unique qualities along the way. Dogs are highly intelligent, more than we can imagine. Working with such amazing animals is such a dream come true!
