We reached out to thumbtack because a tenant had water leaking issues under the kitchen sink and issues with poor draining in an upstairs sink. Ali promptly replied to our service request. After providing additional details, he gave us a reasonable quote and agreed to perform the work that afternoon (a Saturday.) He showed up as promised and completed all of the work to our satisfaction. Happy tenant; happy landlord. Thanks Ali & Happy New Year.

Ali was very responsive. I was concerned that we would have a communication gap because his texting was a little choppy, but in person & over phone his english is great, so dont worry there. Ali was accommodating & flexible with helping unload a full SUV loaded w boxes of office furniture & equipment, which was really helpful. He has great tools, and worked very quickly doing what a lot of handimen would have taken longer to complete. Very clean, punctual and professional, he quoted me for the job instead of hourly & at end of job asked for $50 more than he had quoted. He earned it, but needed to have a clear communication about it earlier in the job, that's all. I'll hire him again for sure!! Only next time I'll negotiate him picking up lumber from hardware store!
