Bruce is nothing short of awesome! He did a complete remodel of my 1923 house (floor to roof, electrical to plumbing, and everything in between). What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer giving fixed cost estimates for a project. This benefits the client by having them know what the cost is upfront. With hourly rates businesses sometimes "stretch" the job a lot longer then it needs to be. If I do give hourly rates, I will give an estimated time I think the job will take.
