I have been having weekly Spanishlessons from Spanish55 for almost 2 months now. I greatly appreciate the one on one lessons with my Spanish coach and how each week we are able to take on new subjects. What I have been learning will help me both in my work life and social life. Spanish 55 is great! Once I responded to their request to speak with me on thumbtack I noticed they were much more professional than the others on here that had contacted me. They clearly have the user's needs at hand. They do a quick review of what your looking to learn in Spanish and set up a program to tailor to your needs. I have been using them for about 3 weeks and love it. The whole team from owners all the way to the scheduling staff are very responsive and open for suggestions on how to improve what they are doing well and if anything they can do to fix any problems in a timely manor. I would highly recommend Spanish 55 for anyone from an interest in Spanish to desiring fluency! Alberto, he is my instructor and is a great professor! Very personable and stays on track with lessons. I've been taking classes with Spanish55 for over a year and cannot recommend them enough. They're very responsive, very very flexible and great to work with. Flexibility is important to me as I travel a lot and everyone at Spanish55 is GREAT about this.
They also listen - a few months ago i wrote an email to the team with some feedback, specifically asking for some weekend timings which helps working folks like me as well as asking about how to get hard copies of the digital material - Not only did they ship me the books I was studying from, but they did NOT charge me for it AND they started weekend hours! This is customer delight at its finest.
Every single person I have interacted with at Spanish55 has been gracious, friendly and helpful. Last but not least, Coach Alberto is also incredible - he is friendly, kind, makes class fun and interesting and is very flexible. I really enjoy his teaching style - he is also very encouraging which is very helpful for self-guided learners like me.
So far, buying the "packs" of 10 classes has worked for me with my erratic travel schedule i can ramp up or down the number of classes without losing the $$'s as it happens with my gym where I have to pay monthly regardless of whether or not I go.

New students meet for 55 minutes with a highly-qualified Spanish tutor over Zoom, free of charge. This is a great opportunity to share your goals, to ask questions, and to experience one-on-one Spanish tutoring! If you are completely happy with your consultation, your tutor will give you instructions for step 2!
