Have one wall for wallpaper installed by Andre and it’s done wonderfully. He commented on the quality of my wallpaper is the main factor but I think he’s also being humbled. Andre’a very friendly, punctual, and efficient. Most importantly, he made my first wallpaper experience wonderful. He’s every experienced and keen to make the project perfect. The result turns out very nice and I wouldn’t expect it to be more ideal than this outcome.

Before starting the wallpaper installation, he clearly explained what I needed to do in order to achieve the best, most long-lasting, and smooth finish. He didn’t just come and start working—he carefully assessed the wall condition and did all the necessary prep work to make sure the final result would be flawless. What impressed me the most was how patient and accommodating he was throughout the whole process. After prepping the wall, he waited several months for me to find the right painter and get the walls finished. Only after everything was completely ready did he return to install the wallpaper. Q My Design is operated by Weyner, who installed the wall paper, and his wife, who managed communications with me through Thumbtack. When I reached out for a quote, they were the quickest to reply to my inquiry and messages. They asked good questions about the project, such as photos of the wall texture and website links for where I got the wall paper from. They were very upfront about their cost per square foot for wall paper installation and (optional) paper liner installation. They provided options on if a paper liner was needed for my orange peel textured wall. (I ultimately skim coated and primed the wall for best results). They had the best value/price/quote. I felt comfortable hiring them based the prompt and thorough communication. Weyner updated me that he was running 15 minutes late on the day of the installation. He was friendly in person, professional, and very steady in his work. He explained that he has many years of experience under the business umbrella of his boss, but recently started to branch out with his own wallpaper business with Q My Design. His experience showed well in his work: flawless job. The edges are clean and seamless. No gaps in between panels. Very smooth. He took a cool series of time lapses that he sent to us and upload on Instagram. He wiped the wall edges and floor and left the work space clean. Job for a 10'x22' wall took him 4 hours total. This was my first time installing wallpaper. Q My Design was fantastic to work with. If I ever have another wallpaper job, I would happily hire them again.

Vlad installed wallpaper on the backsplash of my kitchen on a Sunday afternoon with one helper. He was able to calculate easily that I had just enough product to complete the job and got started with light sanding, and apply adhesive to the areas needed. He was focused, very talented and created an incredible backdrop with matching patterns and creating invisible seams. Quality, workmanship, and efficiency are words to describe his service. I highly recommend him for your consideration.
