As a licensed architect renovating my personal residence, I have high expectations for the contractors I hire.
Gabriel and his team were easy to work with throughout the project, which included interior framing and drywall work (mudding and sanding new and existing walls), as well as shower pan installation and waterproofing. Communication was clear, timely, professional and friendly - all what one would ask for.
As with any construction project, there were a few hiccups along the way, but Gabriel was communicative and worked with me to get things resolved as quickly as possible. And given that I also acted as the GC (was coordinating other trades), the collaborative and solution-oriented spirit was much appreciated.
I hope to work with Gabriel and his team again in the future!

We’re doing a complete bathroom remodel, and after the demo, we discovered that the structure around the tub, toilet, and vanity areas needed significant reconstruction due to moisture damage in the subfloor, joists, and base plates. Gabriel came in with his expertise and did an outstanding job getting everything back to a solid, safe place so we could continue the project.
He was very communicative, arrived on time, and brought all the right tools for the job. You can tell he has years of carpentry experience. His cuts and finishes were precise and clean. I also learned a lot from him along the way; he has great energy and takes real pride in his work.
We’ve already talked about a few other projects we’re considering, and I’ll definitely be using him again. I highly recommend Gabriel for any carpentry work, especially structural projects that require skill and attention to code. Hiring him was absolutely worth it.

Gabriel worked as general contractor for my 2 stories ADU project, and he did the framing of the house himself too. The project is attached to the existing house and then is more complicated than building a detached house due to the complex connections to the old house. Gabriel has been professionally competent, responsive, and skillful in his job. I'm happy with the quality of his work and strongly recommend him to any big or small project, from framing to general management of the construction of the whole building. Gabriel and his company, MBB Construction, are trustworthy and I strongly recommend them.

My prices are fair, accurate, and firm. Its the price that includes great craftsmanship and a guarantee things will be done properly to code.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Reaching out to the customer via thumbtack portal or ********. Communicating with the customer and getting an understanding of what the customer is looking to have built. Reviewing plans, taking measurements, and going over design ideas. Offering suggestions and different methods and pricing options for the customer to chose from. Creating an agreement that reflects everything the customer wants with schedule, cost breakdown, and other important details. Set up a date and time to begin work.
