- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing fluctuates based on the type of shoot needed, but on average my hourly starts at $90! All my packages come with unlimited photos, so you will always receive every photo I take. The only extra fees that are not always applicable is if the agreed location has a fee for parking, and also if you're interested in edits! Once our shoot is complete, it will take typically 1-5 days to send them out to the customer. If needed sooner that no problem!!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new customer, I find out exactly the type of work they want. Where, when, for how long, and if they're unsure I have many recommendations for locations and flexible availability. From there I let them know how my packages include unlimited photos, and I will be sending them everything!! Once everything is booked in and secure, we wait for our shoot day with a reminder text coming to them a day before.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I professionally got started in 2018, when I got hired at a professional wedding company. There I was working amongst many other professional co-workers, shooting weddings, as well as editing in the office. From there I then got hired at another company in 2021, doing all of their social media content creation! At the end of 2021, I decided to fully focus on MRay Media, and pour all of my energy into my own personal craft. To say I have been thoroughly enjoying it would be an understatement. I do have to give my dad credit though. There are young toddler photos of me holding his camera. My interest was sparked by his passion, and from there he bought me my first camera at the age of 13.
