I normally do not write reviews, but Gold Remodeling and Daniel Goldstein earned this one.Daniel was the lead project manager on a very large remodel at my home in Walnut Creek. We did a full custom master bath, replaced every window in the house, and completely redid the backyard including artificial turf. Total spend was around $300,000.I'm probably not the easiest client in the world because I'm a retired chemical engineer and spent years managing projects myself. I ask questions, I challenge things, and I expect straight answers.Construction projects always have conflict, surprises, changes, and moments where things get tense. That is normal. What stood out to me about Daniel was -- integrity.I can honestly say Daniel is one of the most honest project managers I have ever worked with. He did not tell me what I wanted to hear. He told me the truth. If something was wrong, he dealt with it. If something cost more, he explained it. If there was bad news, he did not hide from it.There are a lot of people in construction who are good at selling. Daniel stood out because I trusted him.I would absolutely work with him again and wish him success.

I chose Gold Remodeling for my bathroom renovation because they were the only team truly willing to collaborate with me on the details that mattered most. They helped me turn an awkward space (with a series of uneven prior fixes) into a calm, beautiful oasis. Since this is my only bathroom, I was worried about the logistics, but they were incredibly thoughtful about making the process livable.The crew was thorough, respectful and kept the site clean every day. I worked from home for most of it, and wasnt inconvenienced. Pricing was transparent with no surprises. I was especially impressed when a supplier delay cropped up; the owner personally drove to pick up a window himself to keep us on schedule. Its rare to find that level of accountability. Im delighted with how the space turned out and would happily hire them again.

Wanted to shout out to Daniel at Gold Remodeling. His business model really is Gold.Mid last year a friend of mine put it out there that he needed upgrades to his newly bought house. He was looking for someone reasonable who could accommodate his needs and get the job done to his liking. I referred Daniel.My friend called me up happy how Daniel called him every step of the way.Anyways My friend's wife cooked me a great dinner in their newly remodeled kitchen as a thank you for the referral.I'm usually hesitant about referring people.
