My two-car garagedoor made an awful sound when it closed yesterday. I suspected the springs were broken. I posted on Thumbtack and received an immediate response from Allen GarageDoor who had a technician in the area. Sean arrived promptly and got to work. It was not an easy fix. There were several parts that were worn on this 42 year old sectional roll up door. He replaced everything that was faulty or broken and even discovered the springs that had broken (which were replacements) were the wrong ones for that door. He stuck to it until the door rolled up smoothly on new springs and quietly as if new.

Benjamin is an amazing technician. He rightly pointed out the root cause of my garagedoor problem and suggested a solution that is cheaper and makes absolute sense. I met quite a few other technicians and they all suggested replacing the motor. Benjamin suggested changing the spring and rightly pointed out that root cause is not the motor but the spring not able to hold the door. Strongly recommend Benjamin for any garagedoorrepair.

After we scheduled the meeting, the technician will come to the client’s house, detect the problem and will give the client the exact description of the problem. After that, he will explain to the client his options, they will decide on the price and most of the problems will be fixed on the spot!
