I cannot recommend Amanda enough! If you have ever felt nervous about stepping onto a dance floor, Amanda is the teacher for you. She possesses infinite patience; no matter how many times I stumble or need a step explained, she is right there with a smile, ready to help me get it right without ever making me feel silly. ​Her positive attitude is truly infectious. Even on my tired days, I leave her class feeling energized and happy. Beyond her amazing teaching style, she is incredibly creative. Amanda is an amazing dance instructor. I have been working with her for a few months, and I cannot believe how much I have learned. Ballroom dancing is way outside of my comfort zone. I am more of the martial arts, hiking, snow skiing type, but I have admired the skill & elegance of ballroom dancing for years. I particularly enjoyed some of the Tango dancing that I would see in action movies occasionally. Finally, a friend of mine suggested that I take the big step and start lessons. Amanda has been great at translating the required dance movements into terms that I understand from decades of martial arts. There are a lot of similarities in movement and balance, but the emphasis & timing are dramatically different. Amanda has a great depth of knowledge and experience in ballroom dancing and the gift of being able to transfer that knowledge to her students. I highly recommend Amanda as a ballroom dance instructor.
