I am a pastor/worship pastor who gives premarital counseling. Providing a spiritual foundation and going over each one's history of how they were raised, including the values they were or were not taught as youths, I ask them how they view their future, what it looks like after being married for 10 years. My questions include the following: * Are children a part of their lives? * Do they use drugs and alcohol? * What kinds of jobs do they prefer? * How much income do they plan on making?
