Professional, accommodating, communicative and reliable. Very happy with our custom shelf installation!
We had a total of 22 IKEA kitchen Cabinets that needed to be assembled. John actually managed to assemble "all of them" in one day... Yes he had help from one other person...but he did manage the assembly and it all came together in what seemed "no time". John is a super pleasant, talented , trustworthy and reliable person. John arrived super prepared and he had all of his own tools. He works fast and efficient. I will definitely hire John again. Thank you very very much !!!
Tom did a great job installing out IKEA kitchen cabinets. He was on time and worked in a quick and efficient way. Would definitely use him again in the future!
Ed was quick, courteous and professional. I would hire him again for any installation or home repair without hesitation.
We narrowed down a day a time for this project. Ron was very punctual. Installation of the pet door was done in a short amount of time and it works. Very happy with completed project.
I acquired a lovely old dining room cabinet. I could not afford to have it refinished, but Tim painted and repaired it and it looks wonderful! His reasonable price included pick-up and delivery. The only glitch was a delay in finishing the job due to a piece of his equipment that had to be repaired. I am extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend Tim Martinez to others.
I called James at 8:15 am and he was at my house in 25 minutes! Now that's service! My husband and I needed a carpenter to install two cabinets and a counter top in our laundry room. These items had already been delivered and were sitting in our garage. What seemed like a pretty simple job turned out to be a bit more complicated. It turned out James had to make some modifications which required him to design and build an additional component on the job site. Miraculously, he accomplished this feat, and the finished product is perfection! Our laundry room looks beautiful! We are very fortunate we had James do the work. He is an excellent carpenter, very professional, very articulate, and he takes care of the surrounding areas in the home. We will be calling on him again when we need his services. He is a gem.
Dan is a true handy-man! His attention to detail is impeccable - he will not stop until you’re satisfied with the project. He is a jack-of-all-trades and is so knowledgeable about everything you need done around the home... from installing a tv mount, to building kitchens, hanging lights, or installing a barn door, to changing thermostats or sanding down cabinets and so much more. Just ask and he will help. He is trustworthy, very responsible, honest, and passionate about any project he decides to take on. You are in very good hands with Dan. I highly recommend him!
We wanted new granite counter tops for our kitchen and a island built. We wanted our island to match our existing kitchen cabinets color as well. Germain came out the same day I reached out to him to measure and gave us an estimate, turn around time, and was very informative, professional, and very reasonable. Throughout the process, he was always in contact with us, giving us updates, and keeping us informed of how the work was coming along on my island. The island we had made has 2 trash can pull out on one side, and a cookware organizer that was customized to fit in the middle cabinet, and another cabinet for storage, he later informed us we had room to add 4 more drawers up top, which we accepted to have done. It came out great, the color of the island was identical to our existing cabinets. We were very impressed. His guys he had doing the granite work were also very professional, punctual, and did a beautiful job on the counter tops. I would definitely be using Germain again for our future projects as he's a licensed general contractor. It was a nice, stress free, experience to upgrade our kitchen working with Germain at Greenview Construction.
Joseph and his team designed and built custom built-in cabinets, shelving and a closet in two areas of our home -- around the family room fireplace and in the open space underneath our stairs. Both areas were challenging in terms of the shape and design we needed, but Joseph made sure that everything came out exactly as we wanted. And, a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.
For the past three years, our handy man Mike has built, re-built, repaired and/or installed a variety of things in our 50- year-old home and in our rental units. Most recently, when one of our old gates was splintering and falling off its hinges, Mike built a brand new wooden gate for us, saving us the time and money we would have had to spend ordering a custom made resin gate and waiting for delivery. He has also installed a huge flat screen TV on the wall in our den, a new medicine cabinet and a lighted vanity mirror in our master bathroom and a Boscsh double-oven in our kitchen. The new oven was slightly larger than the original one so Mike made the necessary changes in the cabinetry around it to make it fit nicely. In our rental units, he has installed new cabinets and made various repairs as needed. When it comes to fixing things, Mike consistently shows creativity, determination and skill. About two years ago our clothes dryer started making loud noises and the clothes were taking forever to dry. The sounds were similar to some we had heard a few years ago. At that time we had to call out an appliance repair man and a few hundred dollars later, the dryer was working again. This time we figured it was either another high repair bill or just buy a new dryer. We first called Mike though to see if he might be able to fix it. Mike researched the make and model year of our dryer and found the all the specifications and information he needed, including a complete diagram of the inside of our dryer. He then took apart the dryer and found that there were just one or two parts parts causing the problem. He bought the parts, came back and installed them, and put our dryer back together again! The dryer is still working nicely.
Let us start by saying that Dave is not only a great general contractor but is more importantly an old-school craftsman. We wanted to totally remodel our kitchen and interviewed a couple of contractors, including Dave. What impressed us most was amount of time, effort, and attention to detail that Dave put into our remodel BEFORE a contract was even presented and agreed upon. Dave met with us on three separate occasions before we formally agreed to engage his services, and each of those meetings lasted more than two hours. Dave's proposal for the remodel was 6 pages long and included every detail as what he would be doing and how he would proceed with the job. Dave covered every detail of his proposal with us and answered every one of our questions. The contract was also detailed and contained a payment schedule that was based upon him completing various stages of the remodel. We had no "buyer's remorse" after we signed that contract since it was clear to us that Dave would do an outstanding job on the remodel. Here are some very important facts for those of you who have had dealings with contractors: (a) Dave told us when the job would start, how long it would take to complete, and the times he would show up and wrap it up for the day. He was true to his word on all of his promises; (b) Dave and his assistant (Rick) do all of the work themselves - with the exception of the fabrication and installation of stone countertops - but don't worry because Dave's stone guy (Ciro) is also top notch. Dave and Rick do the tear out, plumbing, electrical, gas lines, cabinet installation, and the installation of appliances. Nothing is subbed out. And Dave was present for the entire remodel. And not only does Dave do the entire job, he does it with a care, attention to detail, and a precision that is often times lacking in today's contractors. Dave followed the plan he presented to us and the new kitchen unfolded before our eyes. (c) At the end of each day Dave and Rick cleaned up their work area with great care and stored their tools so that nothing was in our way. This was huge for us because we've seen other remodels where the entire house is an unlivable mess and disaster area. We couldn't recommend Dave more. He did the job with great care to quality and detail, he was friendly and approachable, and took the time to explain what he was doing so that there would be no surprises. Dave followed up on the smallest details and took care of everything so that when the kitchen was done it was beautiful and ready to use without any issues.
Last time I had upgraded my kitchen was 18 years ago so I wanted to do my kitchen again but I did not know any local contractor and from what I had heard from my friends about the bad experiences they had with other contractors I was very nervous about doing my project but I decided to take a chance and so I looked up on line and found Axis thru thumbtack. First George came by and he gave me an estimate and showed me all their products and colors. Then Maria and her crew showed up. They took out my old and outdated cabinets and tile counter top. Before long the new cabinets were in and they finally installed the new quartz top and they even hooked up all of my appliances. All and all I did not feel too much pain during my ordeal. All together I was without a kitchen for about 7 days. Now I am thinking about doing my bathrooms.
The IKEA Specialist is exactly that. He installed my kitchen cabinets perfectly and was able to easily handle the challenges posed by the walls and floors. The kitchen is beautiful. I highly recommend him.
We had Joe come fix our cabinets prior to installation of a new countertop. The guy who originally installed our kitchen did a crappy job. Like when you clean your glasses and then realize just how dirty they were, our "new" kitchen is showroom now! Joe did an awesome job of resetting and leveling everything, properly fixed some aesthetic and design "issues" we had, and did it all with the best attitude. He was great to work with, from start to finish, and we were 100% comfortable with him working solo in our place - he's a straight-up good guy. I'm just pissed that we didn't use him when we originally put in the kitchen!
I just want to say it took longer than I anticipated for bedroom door to be installed. I had a overall good experience with handyman Darrel & was pleased with his work & would recommend him thanks again.
Jim was so nice and professional. He did incredible work on my cabinets for my 1952 Aljoa trailer. It looks original but has all new cabinetry. It was a pleasure working with Jim on this project.
He put in a security door, bedroom door and floor molding for me and was very professional. I am happy with the service a received and will use him on other projects around the house.Thank you Chad.
Assembled an 8x6 steel Arrow Shed with floor kit. Showed up on the day(s) he said he would. He worked the whole day, not 10-2 like a lot of guys . Job took a little bit longer than either of us expected, but was done very well.
I had Tyler design and build me a custom made dresser, and it turned out gorgeous! He made it in a very timely manner, and even filmed the making of it, so I could see the process. Working with this company was an absolute pleasure! I highly recommend TG Woodworking!
My house was built in 1930 and except for changing the counter top, the flooring and the sink, the kitchen and laundry room had never been upgraded or remodeled. Rodrigo at RBF design had done some work for me before which I loved and I decided to have him remodel my kitchen and laundry room. He gutted them both down to the studs, and replaced everything -- drywall, floor, ceiling, and, of course, the cabinets. He built the cabinets out of premium cherry, which we decided not to stain. He just varnished them and they are absolutely stunning. The cabinet doors are all hardwood -- not just veneer -- and the quality of the workmanship is superb. He built and installed the cabinets, installed the drywall, painted, and installing the backsplash. His attention to detail is outstanding and I cannot recommend his services enough. Rodrigo and I designed the kitchen together, with him providing many of the fine details like using soft closing/self-closing hinges. Once the design was done, he measured and built the cabinets, without demolishing the existing kitchen. This meant that while he built the cabinets (which is time consuming) I still had a working kitchen. Once the cabinets were ready, it was time to start the demolition. From the start of demolition (which included taking down a wall between the kitchen and the laundry room, breaking up and removing an old saltillo tile floor) and re-drywalling all the walls and the ceiling) until the time the kitchen was completed, was approximately 4 weeks. Obviously, this was a real plus since it meant we only had to cook on a camp stove and have the major appliances stored in the dining room for a remarkably short period of time. Rodrigo is very professional, has a great sense of humor, is personable and, above all else, is a fantastic master craftsman.
Brock did a great carpet and vinyl linoleum installation for me. He did everything in a timely manner. I found him very honest, reliable and affordable.
