Shawn responds shortly after I submitted the request that I was having trouble lighting the pilot. He was here on time and since my water heater is 16 years old and probably had never been serviced and properly maintained. I decided to go ahead and replace it. He and his helper was able to do that in short time and although I don’t know much about water heater installation, the job seems well done and they cleaned up afterwards. He also checked to make sure my recirculating pump is functional and agree to come out to replace the sensor if I am not getting instant hot water with my new water heater. Since I did not ask for another company to give me an estimate, I cannot tell if his price is competitive.
