FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Studio Construct, we believe great construction starts with clear communication and thoughtful planning. Our process is designed to make your project efficient, transparent, and stress-free from start to finish. 1. Initial Consultation We begin with a short phone call or on-site visit to understand your project goals, style preferences, and budget. Discuss overall vision and project scope Review design needs or introduce design partners (like KrimsonHAUS, if applicable) Establish initial timelines and expectations 2. Site Walk & Assessment We perform a detailed walkthrough to evaluate existing conditions and gather accurate measurements. Identify structural, plumbing, or electrical considerations Note potential challenges or upgrades Document site access, protection, and logistics 3. Proposal & Scope of Work After the walkthrough, we prepare a detailed Scope of Work and Cost Proposal that includes: Itemized labor and materials Clear inclusions and exclusions Payment schedule tied to project milestones Estimated start and completion dates 4. Contract & Scheduling Once you’re ready to move forward, we formalize the agreement through a California-licensed Home Improvement Contract. Deposit collected (10% or $1,000 max per CA law) Materials and finishes finalized Project start date scheduled 5. Construction Phase Our crew handles every stage of the build — from demolition to final detailing — while keeping you updated throughout. Consistent communication and project management Clean, safe, and organized jobsite Coordination with inspectors, designers, and trades 6. Walkthrough & Completion We finish with a detailed walkthrough to ensure all work meets your expectations. Address final punch list items Provide warranty and completion documents Final payment upon substantial completion 7. Post-Project Support We remain available for any follow-up questions, maintenance recommendations, or future remodels. Our goal is to build lasting relationships, not just structures.
