FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge hourly so that your investment reflects the actual scope of your project. Design services are $175 per hour, and administrative support is $100 per hour. After an initial consultation, I create a detailed proposal outlining how many hours are allocated to each space. Once approved, a retainer secures your project and is applied to your design time. I value transparency and communication, so you’ll always understand where your time and budget are going.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with an initial phone call to understand your goals, timeline, budget, and overall vision. From there, we schedule an in-person consultation to walk through the space and discuss ideas in more detail. After the consultation, I create a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work and estimated hours allocated to each room or phase. Once approved, a retainer secures your project and design work begins. From there, the process typically includes: • Space planning and layout development • Design concept and material selections • Presentation and revisions • Procurement and order management • Coordination with contractors and vendors • Installation and final styling Throughout the project, communication is consistent and transparent. My goal is to make the process organized, collaborative, and enjoyable while delivering a finished space that feels elevated and truly personal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have formal education in interior design, which provided a strong foundation in space planning, materials, lighting, color theory, and construction documentation. Beyond formal training, I’ve spent years working on residential projects ranging from full-home renovations to custom cabinetry and finish selections. My experience includes collaborating closely with contractors, architects, fabricators, and vendors to ensure designs are both beautiful and buildable. I also stay current with industry trends, product innovations, and code considerations to ensure each project is thoughtfully executed from concept through installation. Design is constantly evolving, and I’m committed to continuing education and hands-on experience to refine both the creative and technical sides of my work.
