I would like to say that I ONLY work with wrought iron/ carbon steel materials and wood.
First and foremost, I like to connect with the customer and discuss design. Design plays a key role when it comes to giving the customer a fair price. I also like to provide pictures of different decor designs that can be implemented if the customer is unsure of a design. Once design and size of materials is agreed upon, I will computer generate drawings that layout all the dimensions and decor placement for the customer to review. I feel it is very important the customer is well informed before beginning.
I enjoy the satisfied look on my customers face when they inspect my work. I value knowing that my customers expectations were met.

Mr. James Holmes was very great to work with. He was always on time and very easy to communicate with. He was fast to respond to messages and won my trust from the moment he first replied to my inquiry. His work is immaculate and my wife and I are very satisfied with the craft he created for us at our home. He made a crawl space cover and two hand rails for our home. He is polite, friendly and over all a great human. We highly recommend anyone looking for great quality iron works, he is the man you want to do business with. James called me almost immediately after I texted him. He gave us a price for 2 different options we could do with our steel gate. He was on time and had given us appropriate explanation of what was needed and how long it would take and then was done with it. Great work and would hire him again without a thought. James did a beautiful job. He was able to modify our fence, fix all of our gates, replace decorative finials, was pleasant and very accommodating. He worked all day ,was on time and didn’t leave until he was finished. We were extremely happy with James‘ work. We recommend him highly.

James did a great job on making my fence/gate look new again. There were many areas that we didn't find out needed fixing until the project started but nonetheless he did a good job. Very helpful and nice.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to quote by fixed price or if more than one item needs to be made by each unit.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to address design and preferences from the customer. I then computer generate drawings to submit to the customer for approval. If everything is agreed upon, I work up a price that is appropriate for the job. I am always flexible when it comes to meeting at a price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently graduated from Long Beach City College. I completed a two year welding and metal fabrication program. This program has certified me, enhanced my skills and now I am applying these skills in the work field.
