- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everything starts with a trial lesson. It's a relaxed 30-minute session where I listen to you sing, check your pitch accuracy and breath support, and learn what you want to achieve. By the end, you'll have a clear picture of where your voice is right now and a step-by-step plan for getting where you want to go. From there, we move into regular lessons. Most students do 1 or 2 sessions per week, either 45 or 60 minutes. Every lesson has two parts: the first half is vocal warmups and technique - we work on breath control, diaphragm support, resonance placement, pitch accuracy, and range expansion using keyboard exercises tailored to your voice. The second half is song work - we take a song you love and apply those new skills in real time, working on phrasing, dynamics, and authentic delivery. Your goals set the direction. Some students come in wanting to sing confidently at karaoke. Others are preparing for auditions or building a career. I adjust the pace and focus based on what matters to you. The one constant: you'll hear a difference in your voice within the first few sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a formal music education and over 15 years of professional experience as both a performer and a vocal coach. I founded and ran my own music school in Kyiv, Ukraine for 8 years, where I personally trained dozens of students ranging from complete beginners to competition-level performers. As a recording artist, I competed in Ukraine's national selection for Eurovision 2019, recorded at a Paris studio with the producer behind platinum-selling French artist ZAZ, and currently collaborate with Grammy-connected songwriters in Los Angeles. My music has been in heavy rotation on national radio and reached millions of listeners across Europe. I specialize in contemporary vocal technique - pop, dark pop, soul, and folk-influenced styles, with a focus on building real vocal power, expanding range, and developing confident, authentic performance.
