When I decided to apply to graduate school, I wasn't sure where to begin. I was so lucky to find Amanda. She helped me find the right MA programs to apply to, revise my personal statement into a high quality paper, and write and format my resume. Not only did I learn how to market myself to graduate schools, I also truly grew as a writer under her tutelage. I found her to be a very patient and accommodating tutor, with great creative ideas to get the writing process started. I was recently accepted into a top program in my field. She's a warm person who really cares about helping her students, and I would recommend her tutoring services to students from all backgrounds and levels who want to enhance their writing, reading, and general academic abilities.

Amanda has tutored both of my over the course of two years. She has tutored them in math, vocabulary, english and spanish. My son had ADHD and she worked with him through sixth and seventh grade. He is a bright child and attends private school however, he needs constant redirection, prompts and a tutor who has the patience and skill to work with a child with special needs. Amanda worked very well with him and instilled a love of learning and accomplishment through her efforts with his homework and learning plateaus. My daughter Helena was also tutored by Amanda. Helena was struggleing with the confidence that she needed in math and english/vocabulary test taking. Amanda helped her gain her strenght in memorization and healthy tools for studying to improve her grades and comprehension of her studies. Amanda is a fun educator and completely reliable.

Amanda is awesome! She really helped me turn my senior project into "A" material. She was great at explaining her corrections, and very friendly. I've had a few tutors, and tutoring with her was the most beneficial and pleasant experience I've had.
