Marilee Mersy

Introduction: Yoga is my passion, and I have been practicing for over 12 years. I received my instructor certification from Yoga 108, a reputable studio in downtown Long Beach. My training was extensive and thorough, encompassing the history and spiritual aspects of the tradition, as well as intentional Asana (poses). I have training in the elements of intelligent sequencing in a vinyasa-based class, accessible yoga, Yin, the subtle body (energetic anatomy), and pranayama (breathing practices). Whether an athlete, injured, trauma-survivor or veteran yogi, I creatively cater my classes to the needs of the client. I continue to learn and grow, as a student of yoga first, and a teacher.
