We hired Ricardo and the Precision Paving team for a full backyard redo including concrete, artificial turf, and rock. We're really happy with how it turned out. The crew was professional and finished everything to a high standard.
Ricardo is very easy to communicate with. We changed a few things partway through and the team accommodated it without any fuss. We also didn't know much about turf, and we wanted something dog friendly that drained well so odor wouldn't build up and it would be easy to clean. Ricardo brought us samples to look at and walked us through the options. We were also picky about the rock, and he drove out to the rock yard himself to track down exactly what we wanted.
One thing that could be better is that the timeline. The original estimate was about a week and it ended up taking closer to two. The extra time wasn't a dealbreaker for us, but a more realistic estimate up front would have helped us plan around it.
Overall, we'd recommend them. Good work, easy to deal with, and willing to go the extra mile on details.

It's been a month since our project was finished and we're still so happy with the result and are planning several get togethers to show it off! No water pooling, leveled pavers, beautiful lighting, quality craftsmanship! Ricardo, our project manager, and Daniel the foreman were great and easy to work with. From the initial consult to the finished project, I felt comfortable talking to both of them if and when anything came up. Of course, I was nervous at the beginning because you never really know if they're actually going to do what they say they're going to do, but both these guys and their crew were reliable and dependable! I'm hoping I'll never need their warranty, but am glad it's there! We love looking at our backyard now, and our favorite part is the paver lights!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my favorite landscape projects involved transforming a neglected backyard into a lush, multi-functional oasis. We installed native plantings, a dry-stacked stone retaining wall, and a meandering flagstone patio with integrated lighting. The centerpiece was a tiered water feature surrounded by ornamental grasses, which added movement and sound to the space.
The design phase took about three weeks, factoring in client revisions and permit approvals. Physical work—including grading, hardscaping, and planting—was completed in just under six weeks, despite a few weather delays. Seeing the clients’ reactions when they hosted their first garden party made every hour worth it.
