FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Workshops, rather Fitness or Dance. Watch tapes, read books, articles, go to dance concerts. Most recently I have been studying Myofascial Release. I have been a student of acupressure for over twenty years. This work has given me a close and beneficial look at the human anatomy and how it works. I also have developed many new techniques I use in my sessions.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I get variety of request for Dance and Fitness. Many come to me for a fun way to loose weight. Weary of conventional ways to get in shape, dance is exciting and new or renewed in some cases. Former dancers or aspiring dancers come to me to strengthen their technique and work on different choreography. Some want to turn or leap higher. They want to hear good music which inspires them after, in some cases working a full time job. I also have a strong hip-hop base, which is a fat burner. I get jobs for fitness clients who want to tone, build muscle strength, and endurance. With or without weights.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Most recently one of my Jazz Dance students who has been studying with me for about a year, performed at a family function and brought everyone to tears. She credited my work with her is what gave her the inspiration to do the dance. That was great to know.
