- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With respect to pricing: my fee for a 60 minute session is $150; however I work with individuals on a sliding scale who do not have insurance or who have insurance that covers psychotherapy. I adjust my fee to accommodate prospective clients in need of therapy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Michigan State University, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Harvard University. I have twelve years psychotherapy experience serving women with substance abuse issues and who are survivors of domestic violence. I have 10 years experience serving foster children as an administrator and as a psychologist for a Foster Family Agency and for 15 group homes. Additionally, for four years I provided mental health treatment for inmates of the Los Angeles County Men's Central Jail. In addition to the above, I have served as Clinical Supervisor for Marriage and Family Therapist Interns and Pre-Doctoral and Post-Doctoral therapists for more than 15 years.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My client's have included individuals struggling with symptoms of trauma, ADHD, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, Bipolar Disorder, a Personality Disorder, PTSD, Conduct Disorder, stress, and phase of live problems. My specialties include: Trauma; Domestic Violence Prevention; Relationship Conflict - with Spouse, Partner or Child; Couples Counseling.
