I really enjoyed my experience taking bachata lessons with Maria. She is a talented instructor and taught me both how to improve my current technique and to advance it further I feel much more confident in social dancing because of her and I just had a lot of fun working with her. Would recommend.

My wife and I asked Mariia to help us choreograph a short and simple couples dance for our wedding day. We are not experienced dancers, so we were not confident of our own ability. Mariia put together a lovely dance and asked us practice, and if we were happy we could use it as such without coming back for a second lesson. We had so much fun dancing with her and then practicing at home, that our confidence was greatly boosted. That got us thinking about how we could push our limits with this dance. We went back to Mariia and asked her to take it to the next level. After 2 additional sessions, we had a routine with dips, lifts, twirls, and more! Having now had the wedding, we can proudly say that the dance was a great success! We would absolutely recommend Mariia for her ability to gently build up and teach new dancers.

Mariia is an awesome dance instructor and choreographer. My wife and I have taken private ballroom dance lessons for 5+ years while we were living in the SF/Bay Area. Mariia is passionate about her work and is great instructor...patient, communicative, and can diagnose problems with a dancers technique very quickly. She is also very responsive and delivers exactly what she commits to. We liked her so much that we already scheduled a follow up session with her. I recommend her extremely highly!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every lesson start with warm up where we repeat all the basic figures of the Latin program (cha cha, samba, rumba, pasodoble, jive) or the basic figures of the Ballroom program (Slow Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep) After the warm up, the practice begins with a detailed technique like footwork, arm styling, posture. In the final part of the class, you will learn a new dance routine.
