Hi my name is Shyrelle. I'm a Hip hop, jazz, theatre, hula, latin, and contemporary dancer/choreographer. I am comfortable with working with kids, adults, and seniors of all levels/experience. I can teach privates or group classes for recreational purposes, as well as choreographed routines for things such as weddings, parties, flash mobs, music videos, etc. I also work with singers who are in need of artist development. I love creating, teaching, and spreading the joy and art of dance to others. I think music and movement go hand and hand and can truly impact a person's life. Most importantly dance is supposed to be fun! I'm a firm believer in having fun while learning.

Miss Shy helped my daughter with her dance team tryouts & choreographed her talent show routines. She also helped with making her music mixes.

I was disappointed with the service as she portrayed herself as an mc and dancer and didn't do any of that. Also seemed very annoyed when my guests approached her to request songs. If it was to put a playlist on, spotify is just as good and much cheaper.

I'm very sorry you felt that way, but that was honestly the best I could do for the situation that I was put in. My main focus & reason I was hired was to DJ. I mentioned that I dance and MC as well, assuming that I wouldn't be in such high demand for song changes every 30 seconds (not over exaggerating at all on the song request and turnaround time). There was also no way I could leave my DJ set up to dance with the kids because the boys were touching my equipment the entire time, placing food and drinks on my $3000 turntables and trying to change songs on their own. I was busy trying to protect my equipment, so yes leaving my tables to go dance was not even an option. As a parent, adult, and human being, I would hope that you could understand why I was extremely frustrated with the teenagers there. This is the first negative review i've ever had on thumbtack and in general, so its quite upsetting that you've decided to bash me online.
