FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My system is not confusing at all. I charge $50.00 for a training walk with dog and client. Usually the dog will see me only twice a month while I teach the client how to train his own dog. Its not a great idea to send a dog away for training. They get used to listening to their trainer and not to their caretaker.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I teach the client how to train their dog by themselves. Its important that client also be well taught to train their own pet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes of course I take many classes myself to keep well informed about new training genres, I just completed a course about using hand signals to direct a dog to listen to what you are saying. I am also working with assistance and therapy dogs. Very rewarding.....I am also studying advanced animal behavior at ANIMAL BEHAVIOR COLLEGE in Santa Clarita. There is always new things to learn about the way animals react to you and i am always looking for new techniques,
