Toby provided basic training for our 2-year-old golden retreiver. I had training for two previous dogs but I learned more from Toby in just three sessions than with any of the other trainers. Our dog loved Toby and that made it easier for him to learn. He is doing great, no more pulling on the leash, and he listens better. I'd highly recommend Toby!

My 7 month old dog has high anxiety and other issues. Walking on a leash was the biggest issue to tackle. After 1 lesson my pup was responding to heal, wait at crosswalks, Ok to go, and release to explore on a 6 foot lead. Not perfect but very close for a young anxious dog. She sits, stays, comes with treats and often with just verbal praise. We are still dealing with other issues but Toby really knows what he is doing. I am absolutely impressed.

toby is such a professional at his craft truly loves the dogs he works with. my dog Thunder is always excited to work with him. he gives you a detailed program and this is very important since i'm training my dog to be my service dog to help me as a stroke survivor with left sided weakness. i would highly recommend toby as the trainer to go to for any dogtraining.

4 Session Package - $875
6 Session Package - $1,250
10 Session Service Dog Package - $3,000
3 Session Behavioral Modification Package - $900
My training sessions include:
* 15 minute phone consultation
* 1 hour private residence (or public park) training session

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all starts with the ***********************! This is where we get to know each other and of course, I get to understand what issues are affecting you and your dog! 👨🏫
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There are only three K9 schools for military personnel and I graduated from all of them. The last school is notable because it’s literally the one and only dog trainer school (Military Working Dog Supervisors Course). Even if you work with prior military K9 handlers as dog trainers, a good portion of them never attended this school because this is an operations, management, and dog trainer specific school. 🐶 I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley (mentioned previously).
