Highly experienced driver instructor with prior behind-the-wheel teaching experience in New York, New Jersey and Los Angeles. The behind-the-wheel lesson is performed in an AUDI - SQ5 - We provide a Defensive Driving Behind-The-Wheel Course in 10/20/30 and 40 hours packages. We specialize in Defensive Driving and in building your confidence level behind-the-wheel of a vehicle. Also, we have a package for practice for the drive test (this applies to students who already know how to drive.) This package includes 4 (four) hours Behind-The-Wheel and drive test with the AUDI - SQ5. The S.I.P.D.E. Method is utilized during the training course. Vehicle - secure high performance, rated highly safe by the Insurance Institute For Highway Safety. The Audi - SQ5 is safe and comfortable. Dual brake system, fully insured and secure vehicle. We are licensed as a Driving Instructor by the DMV of California - License # I2707047. Trilingual teaching available in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Carlos is an EXCEPTIONAL driving instructor! He put my driving anxiety completely to rest & significantly boosted my confidence behind the wheel. The defensive driving lessons he taught not only enhanced my understanding of the rules of the road but also contributed to my ability to act defensively in dealing with the unexpected. Much of the work that I do involves driving to clients throughout the day in various types of settings from urban to rural & everything in between as well as in varying weather conditions. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the hour with a minimum of two hour behind-the-wheel. I provide a Defensive Driving Course which can be taken in increments of 10/20/30 and 40 hours behind-the-wheel. The more time you spend on the course the less per hour you pay. Payment is due in full before the first two session.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make sure to improve all of my student’s confidence. I offer door to door services. This means you will be picked up from your home and dropped off at the same location.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching for a decade and possess two more decades exercising my defensive driving skills.
