FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straightforward. I offer a free 30-minute trial lesson so you can see how I teach and make sure it’s a good fit before committing to anything. After that, lessons are paid per session, with no long-term contracts or upfront packages required. Most students take one lesson per week, but scheduling is flexible depending on your goals and availability.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started playing over 20 years ago and quickly moved into performing and recording, which led to working with artists like Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie, as well as projects for Universal Studios, HBO, FOX, and more. Over time, I noticed most players weren’t struggling because of lack of effort, but because they were following random advice with no clear direction. That’s what pushed me into teaching — focusing on a more direct, real-world approach that helps people actually play songs and make consistent progress instead of getting stuck.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don’t just look for someone with experience — look for a teacher who can clearly show you how you’re going to improve. A lot of lessons end up being random exercises, theory, or memorizing things that don’t connect to real music, which is why people get stuck. You want someone who can break things down into a simple, repeatable approach and get you playing actual songs early on. The fastest way to tell is to take a trial lesson — you should walk away knowing exactly what you need to work on and how to move forward.
