FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a teacher in high school. I remember having a group of really amazing teachers and it was clear that it was something I wanted to do. I went to college to become a history teacher and taught guitar lessons along the way. When I graduated, I taught elementary, middle and high school for 4 years. A few years ago I made a career change to be a professional musician and along with that came teaching lessons. Even though I'm not full time, I still teach!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I usually teach lessons on how to improve musical skill sets. For example, how to become better at playing a particular style of music on a particular instrument, how to write songs, how to arrange, or gaining a better understanding music theory.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers knew how easy I am to be around and get along with, but once we meet in person, that usually is taken care of. I wish customers knew that am a nice and kind guy who actually cares about students and teaching.
