I started taking lessons with EBD in January to take a few singing lessons. It was my first time actually having a teacher after 5 years on my own. I had Tash as my instructor and she was great! Very friendly and nice. She was encouraging as well and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to make sure they aren't hurting their voice or wanting to build confidence. The owner is JJ. He is a great guy and very professional. He will work with your schedule and is always available to call if you have questions. He quickly went over his background and you can tell his passion about what he does. He specializes in the dj lesson and I would recommend him as I also took a basic lesson for rhythm and counting beats! The good thing about EBD is its like a university for music classes that makes it so easy to work with the teachers. You actually build a relationship with these people and often end up staying and having a conversation about the day after. For what they teach they really are the best in Los Angeles. Thanks for the lessons!

I would honestly recommend jj to anyone who wants dj lessons. I didnt have any equipment for half of my lessons but he provides them to you which was a big plus.

I had a big show coming up at the beginning of june and John Capo helped me prepare for it. I mainly took the classes to learn music production but he also incorporated piano which helped me learn keys and notes. Great guy too and knows what to refine your skills on.

I took lessons with music production lessons withJohn and he made me feel very comfortable. He knows how to teach and is great for people who are serious. Only downside was we were using a software I never used so it was hard to transition.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are focused on the new generation of music while respecting and learning music theory. We offer online booking for students, and online skype lessons for non-local residents.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It's not about having the cheapest instructor, learning is an investment. Make sure you pick someone that is focused on you and not another 20 students a week. Its about receiving the best of both worlds.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
We give students the opportunity to learn from all different ages and skill levels. We tailor our private lessons to the student and not a curriculum.
