Our home is filled with song. On most days, we find our daughter playing the piano and practicing for her recital. Our son too. Except he plays the guitar. Its surreal.A little over a year ago, neither of them played music. Our son used to sing and play with his ukelele when he was much younger. But as he got older, he began to feel more self-conscious, as people often do. And the music stopped eventually.I come from a tradition of musicians, spanning a few generations. My dad was a well-respected Iranian poet. But somehow music and poetry have managed to evade me.Danny gave the gift of music back to me - through my children.Theres a special quality to Dannys approach thats hard to put into words. Hes genuinely warm and kind. Ive seen him gently instruct, but never criticise. Above all, hes joyful and generous. Kids pick up on that. Adults too. And it's this rare combination of character traits that make him so beloved. Hes a soft landing spot. Just the right kind of person to learn something new and uncomfortable with.Words fall short. Im forever grateful to have had the good fortune of meeting Danny.

I cant recommend this music school enough!! I would give it a 6 star reviewif it were possible. I have been taking guitar lessons with Danny for almost 2 years now and it has been such an amazing experience for me. I started out super beginner and now I am playing and singing songs in front of a crowd (in the music recitals he puts on twice a year for his students). Danny is a playful, kind and patient teacher and just an overall awesome human being. He is truly living his dream running this music school and is so passionate about helping his students learn and grow. If youre looking for a great music community where you will be supported in learning and growing and having realistic goals to work towards, I cant recommend this school enough!

I cannot rave enough about teacher Danny and Rose Coast School of Music! These classes genuinely foster a love of music within their students. My son has been taking guitar lessons for 2.5 years and has excelled tremendously. He recently participated in teacher Danny's songwriting workshop and went through the process of writing and producing his own song! My daughter recently began piano lessons with Teacher Sophie in the fall of 2024 and has already completed her first recital. The school offers campfire jams, song writing workshops and various other opportunities to get more than lessons, if you choose. Beyond the instruction is the fun and positive attitudes of the teachers who teach and engage with joy and levity, making interaction fun and easy! I highly recommend Rose Coast School of Music!
