FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do my best to work quickly, cleanly, and carefully. If you have multiple items to hang, it’s more efficient (and cost-effective) to tackle them all in one visit. My pricing is based on standard installations — typically drywall and moderately sized pieces. Heavier items or anything being hung on tall, brick, concrete, or other unconventional surfaces may require more time or specialty hardware to ensure a safe, secure install. I’ll always be upfront about any adjustments before starting the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always aim to be as prepared as possible so the job goes smoothly and efficiently. If you can, sending photos of the wall, the artwork (especially the back), and dimensions of the pieces ahead of time is really helpful. This allows me to plan for the right tools, hardware, and layout approach — and helps avoid surprises on the day of the job. Clear communication upfront means a faster, cleaner install and a better result for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training comes from years of hands-on experience and hanging tons of art. While most installations are straightforward, every challenging job has taught me to adapt and learn new skills on the spot. This practical experience has been the best education, helping me handle a wide variety of art and situations with confidence.
