I originally hired Guilmar Corado/ Corale Painting / Handy Work based on his professional reputation and listing on Thumbtack.com, to do the following concrete job below, that he said he was a professional and could do the service of removing old peeling sealer, without damaging concrete. He initially played as a nice guy, and as a professional, even though at times it was difficult to get him to reply in a timely manner to see job and start. As I told him that if this job went well, I also had the 2 addtl bathrm floor tile job, and tile repair in master shower too, as he also lied to us , saying he had a valid contractor license to do full home remodels. His Job professionalism and timeliness had much trouble from the very start. On the first day to start concrete, he shows up almost 2 hours late, with all 3 of his little kids with him, as I am watching from my (24 HR SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS SYSTEM, my front window, and many of my neighbors told us they also could clearly see) even though nice kids, he allows them to chase each around my front yard, while he is trying to put together a brand new but cheap pressure washer he has never used before, in disbelief , his (Chemical peel solution does not work at all hardly) after watching this for approx 2 hrs, he could not even get pressure washer to work, so he calls me out and apologizes for the kids being there ( of course, Not their fault, I do not blame them), he comes up with some story that his pressure washer is in repair, so he bought this one just this am. So not only shows up late with 3 kids, but he also had to put together, and still did not know how to use this new pressure washer. He left again to buy another pressure washer, that he could not figure out how to work. I just thought he might be having a rough day with the kids as a distraction, so even though he wasted my whole day, said he would show up tomm, and promised to finish the job. The next day he shows up with another Chemical peel solution that still does not work, but he also stronger pressure washer that he says will certainly do the job, without any damages to concrete. While I was working in my office out back, He now proceeds to take new pressure washer that was obviously far too powerful, but he still continues over an huge area right in front of home (Approx 250-350 square feet) where he severely damages our concrete with huge cracks and huge swirl marks, he calls me out and assures and promises me that he will return with a concrete sander to repair all the concrete damages, he asked for me to pay for some not all of jobs until , and until he returns to repair. I realized at this point that this guy does not really know at all what he is doing, but I had no choice, I still paid him, as he seemed like an honest guy, and trusted him to return the next week. ( He never returns again) In conclusion, even though we thought that we were hiring an honest, and quality work professional, but Mr Corado has done nothing but lie and damage or property, and with shoddy work. Even after our numerous emails and phone calls, he refused to still even respond or reply to our trying to resolve this, for almost 3 weeks now, so mr Corado obviously from the start, was planning to scam us, and not return to finish and repair his shoddy work. (My neighbors, who witnessed all the damages as he did to our concrete, helped me to track his LA CA address and info, and we found out that his contractor license or permit has been Suspended/Expired for years. Mr Corado caused severe concrete damages Mr Corado has done and fled to our home ( Approx 1000.00 or more in damages to our concrete- that needs to be grinded down to a finish to remove very large swirl marks etc) Even though we were treated him very nice & respectful even after all the unprofessional problems on this job, even provided a bucket of cold bottled water for him and his guys each day, he still tried to take advantage of myself and my family & run out on us, leaving our property damaged.

Mr. Lorenzo, how unfortunate that with my 15 years as a self contractor I was unable to pleased you. I offered you the sanding instead of the power washing on your concrete and you were waiting for my new estimate. Unfortunately we never came to an agreement. As far as the other jobs I did for you, I recall you were very pleased. We never discussed me having a license since is not required for this type of job, however I just wanted to clarify any misunderstanding. I take my customers reviews ( good or bad) as opportunities to improve as I am very customer service oriented Thank you
