I am a very detail-oriented person with years of experience in carpentry, from building furniture to installing doors, and I'm an excellent-problem solver who can handle just about any minor household repair you can throw at me—plus I'll always be honest when something is a little beyond my reach. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I never charge for time when something is dragging out because of me, and I'm never unreasonable when something is dragging out because your house decided to get weird. I charge a half-hour convenience fee for trips to the hardware store.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to make contact and generally try to work out the details without a site visit, but I'm happy to do so if you can't get necessary measurements yourself or it's a complex project.
