When he finally came to install the work, he only did a fraction of the work he had agreed to. The part of the job he did install was left unfinished, and his design was not what we had agreed to. He then told me he could not return to continue the work for another nine days because he had committed to another job. At that point, after weeks of delays and multiple assurances that my project would be completed, I decided I needed to cut my losses and find someone else.
Communication about the scope was also frustrating. Details I had clearly requested and that he had agreed to were then reinterpreted. After I expressed concern about the delays and broken commitments, Reed said he had been unaware that I had a deadline, even though I had specifically told him before paying the deposit that I wanted the work completed before my travel at the end of August.
He seems to have some serious issues with time management and follow through. My experience was that I could not rely on his commitments or on the project being completed as we had agreed.

What stood out most was his attention to detail—nothing felt rushed or overlooked. Every phase of the project was handled with care, and the quality of the workmanship really showed. Reed stayed on schedule, respected the budget, and kept the worksite clean throughout (bonus points for no visible plumber’s crack—seriously, it’s the little things).
It’s rare to find someone who combines skill, integrity, and a calm presence on the job, but Reed does exactly that. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again, and I’ll definitely be recommending him to clients/friends.
