I got a call from a phone number from another state and thought it was a scam. The person left a message saying that he was Dmitri, the handyman. I gave a call back to this Dmitri person, and the person sounds like he is in his 20s. He is not really professional (it almost sounds like a prank or troll call). I asked if this was for Nikolai the Handyman, and he told me he was his colleague and he is helping him to take appointments and communicate. He told me Nikoli is from Russia and knows some English, which is why he is helping. He told me that he doesn't understand what I said in regards to the tasks I need, and he followed that by saying, What is your budget? Skipping towards the end of the conversation, I asked if Nikolai could come in and check out what I needed instead, and he said, Yeah, sure. I request the same day at 6 p.m. or after, or the next day at the same time. He said Nikolai can come the next day at 6 p.m. or later. He never showed up, so I left... I would not recommend him. I called within 30 minutes after I sent out my request, so I assume it was from Nikoli, and he was the only person I sent out.
