- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most installations are a flat rate of $129-$199 with just a few exceptions. For the purpose of a Time and Materials bid, and some repair jobs our hourly rate is $65/hour with a 2 hour minimum. If a site visit/job scope is necessary, we may charge $50 which would be credited on your invoice. Payment is expected when services are rendered, we do not generally offer net terms. We accept CASH, All major credit cards, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Google Pay, Samsung Pay. Larger projects with large materials orders may require a deposit of up to 50% of the total estimate. All of our work comes with at least a 30 day warranty. Plumbing installs 30 day NO-leak guarantee TV Mounting- Guaranteed level at the time of installation. Warranties against breakaway mount* (mount comes off the wall) 5 years, Defective or broken mount, 1 year * *Remedy limited to remounting TV and or replacing mount. Inquire about other service warranties and guarantees.

My father was too cheap to hire a professional for anything around the house. Instead, he invested in the Time/Life book series of Home Repairs. As a kid I was always his helper (mostly because my brothers could run faster).

As a kid I was always his helper (mostly because my brothers could run faster). At around 13 years old I repaired my first Washing machine with my dad (defective timer). My father’s frugality became my curiosity, which eventually became my side hustle and, roughly 40 years after that washer, became Smart Choice, LLC and Smart Choice Home Services.
