With two teenagers, I was struggling on feeling connection with them. Chase helped me practice mindful parenting. I didn’t really know what that was going into the session, but I’ve felt an increase in my patience/ empathy when interacting with my daughters. Whereas before I might have been more reactive, Chase’s exercises and practice helped me pause before reacting to something that they do or say, and that space gives them time to communicate their feelings, and I’ve started understanding the thoughts or actions that trigger these feelings in them, and that increase in understanding accompanies a decrease in my frustration, and theirs. My relationship with my girls has so profoundly changed and I’m so grateful. Thanks again, Chase.
