Introduction: Join me in practicing the life art of mindfulness--being present in the moment, inhabiting our bodies fully, and being open to experience reality as it is. Detox from daily distractions; relieve stress and anxiety; experience healing, rest, and more aliveness; and witness the transformations within you as well as in your interpersonal relationships.
I offer an accessible and artful blend of ancient and modern approaches to mindfulness, including yoga-inspired breathwork, gentle stretches, contemplative stillness, poetry, and somatic movement set to a unique, eclectic playlist.
My goal is to help you develop mindfulness, not just during class, but increasingly in your daily life. This practice will help you to manage and reduce stress, anxiety, and irritability; to increase mental clarity, focus, and patience; to nurture your emotional and mental health and healing; to build emotional resilience and navigate challenges; to become more in tune with your own body and parasympathetic nervous system; to engage in your relationships and interactions with others with more grace and compassion.
My classes are appropriate for all experience levels, including beginners, and for age ranges from teens through seniors. I offer various packages as well as individual and group rates.
I've practiced yoga (bikram, hatha, vinyasa) for over 15 years and mindful meditation (as distinct from yoga, which also includes meditation) for over 8 years. These practices have been my foundational tools supporting my ongoing emotional, spiritual, and relational healing and growth.
