About
Hey there! I hold a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Yoga Alliance. I teach studio classes at One Down Dog in LA, Equinox, and Santa Monica Yoga. My teacher training emphasized anatomy, alignment, and safe sequencing. I work to educate and empower my clients to feel confident in their bodies and their yoga practice. I have been teaching since 2015. I am experienced with many different bodies and work from a place of professionalism, playfulness, and curiosity with my clients. I am truly passionate about the benefits for your mind, body, and wellbeing. I want you to love it just as much as I do! I work with all levels, including total beginners. Our first session we will collaborate to discuss what your goals are and create a plan from there for our practice together that is personalized to meet your needs and your goals. I provide quality props for our practice-and a shared document online of our yoga practice so that you can keep track of what you are learning. Natalie Burtney is an excellent yoga teacher. I took a class with her at Santa Monica Yoga and signed up for 4 private sessions. She corrected my alignment, modified the poses because I have chronic neck pain and was clear in her instructions. She makes videos of me doing the poses with modifications which are very helpful. In addition she is punctual, professional and very kind. I highly recommend her for private sessions!

Working with Natalie has been a lifechanging experience. In addition to building physical strength, flexibility and--her fav!--mobility, Natalie's life outlook and friendship have helped me to build inner strength as well. Her classes and individual yoga/fitness coaching are so worth it. I'm so glad she is in my life!

Natalie is a warm, caring, committed and a thorough yoga instructor! If you are like me, a beginner, she modifies 1 on 1 lessons to your interests and needs. If you are an advanced yogi, she has classes suited to really challenge you or relax and flow. Her technique is fantastic and she is incredibly patient. I took private lessons. She makes time during your first lesson to ask you and LISTENS to what you want to accomplish through learning yoga. She also asks how yoga with her will help you reach your other fitness goals. Natalie has a great understanding of anatomy, nutrition and meditation practices. So if you are looking for someone who is skilled in yoga AND also someone who knows their stuff in other areas -- stop reading the comments and book your session with Natalie!

I worked with Wolfpack Yoga for a corporate yoga event at my company. Natalie was incredibly responsive and flexible in terms of scheduling. She made sure to tailor our class to the yoga style and intensity we were looking for. The team loved it and we look forward to more classes with her in the upcoming months!

Natalie has been a delight to in our yoga and meditation sessions. She is always responsive both in the sessions and through email contact. She customizes the experience when we submit request to focus on certain areas such as neck stretches or shoulders. She is also always on time and works with our schedule to provide us with the best sessions possible. She is also very friendly and approachable. Thank you very much Natalie!
