Introduction: I design one-on-one yoga sessions specifically for each client, to meet their needs and goals. Whether it be relieving stress, increasing flexibility, weight loss, or reliving pain and muscle issues. My sessions also include meditations which can range from body image to heart healing, or stress depending on the client. I love teaching to all ages and body types. I feel it’s important to keep it safe and fun. I graduated from the White Lotus Foundation’s teacher training program in October 2013, one of the top five yoga schools in the U.S. I’ve been working at a doctor’s office since then, helping patients with specific injuries heal through yoga as well as private sessions with clients. My teaching style varies from Vinyasa to Power to Restorative depending on the individual. I teach everyone from brand new beginners to the more advanced.
I love teaching. I love the gratification of making people feel better about themselves. I love seeing people exceed their individual best. I truly find it to be one of the more rewarding things in life to be a part of that. What I think sets me apart from most, is that I understand how unique each individuals physical abilities are, as well as any areas where they may not be as strong. I have a very good sense of each person’s needs and how to address them, while making sure they are feeling comfortable. I love to keep a positive vibe. I think sometimes people think yoga has to be extremely serious all the time, but I don't. I like my classes to have a combination of enjoyment and hard work. I want to give light and laughter while giving clients a great session. I feel that Yoga should be an experience that everyone can look forward to and walk away from happy, regardless of their age or physical abilities.
